MEET THE

MAKER

My name is Christopher Bonham.

I build guitars from reclaimed timber — antique pianos, historic buildings, and materials with a story to tell.

Each instrument is handcrafted in my workshop in Goulburn, NSW, using traditional methods and decades of woodworking experience.

I trained in fine woodworking at the Sturt School for Wood, followed by trade training in French polishing at Lidcombe TAFE. After years working in antique restoration and custom furniture, I began building guitars — combining traditional craftsmanship with a love of music.

I believe guitars should have character.

The timber I use has already lived a life — sometimes over 100 years. My goal is to honour that history, and turn it into an instrument that will continue that story through music.

 Every Bonham guitar is:

 • Built from reclaimed historic timber

• Hand-shaped and hand-finished

• Fitted with hand-wound Bonham pickups

• One-of-a-kind

• Built using traditional methods

These aren’t just guitars.

They’re pieces of history — built to be played, enjoyed, and passed on.

Timeless Timber — Timeless Sound.
